That's the reason I sold by BeoCom2 and won't purchase a Beo5. I will probably sell my BeoLink 7000 soon as well (replaced that battery for big $ years ago). I'll only buy items with easy, user-serviceable/replaceable batteries from now on. Hope someone has some advice for you, but I'm at a loss.

Is that the 46 inch BeoVision 10?
My bedroom:
Of course, you are entitled to your opinion, and so am I.

If there are no 40" direct LED panels in existence from the manufacturer, then B&O should consider using the same edge-lit panel from the BeoVision 10-40. This will save money in production cost and give the BV7-40 the badly needed technology boost away from CCFT backlighting. B&O can even go a little further and reduce the profile of the

Yes, that's true. I'm not sure why they took away the red filter over the display. Perhaps it was done to match their newer products like the BeoSound 4. The red display makes better sense because it is easier on the eyes in a dimly lit room (like when watching movies). I'm not sure if this can be done, but you may be able to have someone

We are in 2010. One doubt: Does LED backlight really make a huge positive difference?
I ask myself this question every morning when I

Thanks for the information! It so happens that this is also the exact same height as my Avant.

Does anyone out there know the height of the BV10-40 when it is mounted on its floor stand? I've seen the images of the BV10-40 standing next to a pair of BL6000 speakers, but I'd like to know how it might look standing next to BL-8000s and a BS-9000 CD player. I fear it may look a little too short. If it is too short, will there be a taller

I sold her a BeoSound 3200, a pair of BL4000 speakers, and an extended "service" package.

The only other person I know who has B&O is my girlfriend. I sold her the system back in 2006 when I was her B&O salesperson. That's how I met her. She, even as a B&O owner, still thinks I'm crazy for spending all of the money I do on other B&O equipment.
