Hmmm I seem to detect a little bit of snobbery going on here . My family has had a Loewe Spheros 42HD plasma for many years, and while quality and fit and finish (and of course sound) are not up to the level of B&O, neither are they simply "Sonys with bits of plastic stuck on". Many of their designs do look good, from a few feet away.

Dave: Thanks. The Bugatti Veyron is a good analogy - both it and the Lab 5's are unusual/futuristic/perhaps slightly awkward-looking - at first, that is, but the technologies behind both of them are astonishing and knowing it enhances the beauty of their designs. Astrauch: Funny you should mention Star Trek - one of my favorite shows! Thing is,

I think the BL 6000 matches the BV 10 the best, followed by the BL 8000. The new UK catalog shows floorstand and wall-mounted BV 10's with BL 6000's and it looks phenomenal. Mine will be paired with a BL 9 for the sound, since it will also serve as my main music system. Won't look quite as good, but soundwise should be fine, since the BV

I don't agree that the Lab 9's will "age" faster than the 5's. I might be in the minority here but the 9's were love at first sight, while the 5's looked good only after I learnt the technical prowess behind them, and I still can't get used to the 3's. The thing is that the 9's are a very flowing and unified

Me too, but at least the BV 10-40 is coming! Leo

No experts available? Peter, Lee, Trip...? Guess I'll just have to try it when the BV 10 comes and report, not that anyone would be interested in the results. As I said, an unusual combination. Leo

I asked this question in another thread but it got lost within, so I thought I'd start a new one... Years ago I bought a pair of BL 4 PC's which were never installed. They don't have Powerlink, but they have signal-detection auto on-off. To find some use for them, would they function as rears in a surround setup, hooked up to say a BV 10

Gorgeous!!! Somehow I never liked how the floorstand looked in the press/official pictures, but it looks great in your living room. Also like how the Lab 2 matches with the gong. Can you confirm that the panel height is indeed unadjustable (I prefer it a little lower)? If not, I wonder if an easel stand (a la BV 5) can be made for it. It just won't

Gael, have patience my friend! My BV 10 isn't coming until April (USA). Leo

Hi, sorry to hijack this thread but I've a quick question and didn't want to waste a new thread for it. Like you I've also just purchased a pair of BL 9 and am beginning to contemplate rear speakers, in anticipation of the BV 10 which will have a surround-sound processor. Years ago I bought a pair of BL 4 PC's which I've never used
