Toen ik aan het rondkijken was was de Oppo helaas in NL nog niet te krijgen. Heb uiteindelijk voor een Pioneer gekozen. Bevalt uitstekend, goed scaling van DVD's en een redelijk uiterlijk . Model is BDP-LX52. Belangrijkste nadeel: llllaaanggggzaaaam.

Giving your setup, I should really consider or try if possible, the BL4's. My sitting area is more or less the same as yours, aprox. 3,50 by 4,50 meter and i am using the Beolab 4000 as rear speakers. Sound is very nice, however in movies they are not used as much as you would expect. Or better formulated... the BL4 will probably deliver the same

Sad, I really loved the design (although in this digital age rapidly outdated). Owned for many, many years a Beocenter 2300 which you could see like a predecessor design wise. Really loved it.

@Boeric. Je hebt volledig gelijk. B&O kiest voor een bedrijfsmodel waarbij je voor alles de dealer nodig hebt. Niks mis mee, je mag aannemen dat dit in de prijs verdisconteerd is. Als de software gammel is, en B&O een update uitbrengt die je niet zelf kan installeren, zal de dealer dit moeten doen en dan is er sprake van een service geval. Wat

I am using XBMC on my Mac Mini. Tried PLEX, but did not get proper playback of BluRay rips which XBMC is doing fine as well. The Mac Mini is controlled either via the Beo5 or via the iPhone. It all works reasonable well, although sound quality can be better imho. Out of other threads I understood I should buy an external DAC, however the other issue

I assume you make a joke?, but no, the radio is accessed via the iPhone/iPod/iPad docked. The thread starter complains on the lack of internet radio stations available. On the BM5/BS5 you can access over 10.000 radio stations world wide, and this is the functionality I think he wants on his application for the i-thing as well :-)
