I've never dropped mine. But knowing it is slippery, I tend to pull it out of my pocket carefully.

I'm not sure you can call earphones "entry-level products"... What would be needed (IMO) are entry level speakers, audio players and TV's. What could entry level Beo cost? Perhaps twice or three times the competition?

Leo, Given was that there was Beolab5's connected to the BV4 - 103 playing Rolling Stones 40 licks tour, and my dealer put the sound onto to BV10 from the previous system. But it wasn't playing loud before. What I experienced (from a very short demo) was lack of middle and bass tones, and too much treble. I didn't ask him about any settings
