Huh - that's sun bathing weather where I live - has anyone noticed it's always the Southern softies on the TV news with how bad (allegedly) the weather is down south? The UPS vans are under the snow up here!

I have Form 1's and A8's - I actually prefer the A8's (if properly fitted and sealed in the ear) to the Form 1's. I find the latter to have a poor bass/presence balance, they sound either bass light or too sibilant/strident depending on what you are listening to. Agree with Peter, the HD600's are in a different league and can be
Nah, just cheap Danish plastic!
And Clarkson reckons they're full of cheap Philips internals!
That's exactly the sort of idea you get when inmates run the asylum. First of all, it's stuck in there and not actually docked, which would require a different mechanism and would be awkward to do sideways. Even if that could be overcome, the inevitable question would be: "I can't see it from my

I agree. I have the 5000 and am happy that they did it the way they did (with a "proper" preamp out)! The big problem is that modern remotes can't control the 5000 - as a stand alone amp (with MCP 5000) I think the 5000 is better than the 5500. I have the free Spotify account (only via invite now apparently) which allows me to stream/listen but not download, while displaying the odd advert - more than acceptable for my uses. Today my "Revolver" remastered CD arrived - I'm well impressed, still the only way to fly for me (I particularly like the stamp (or even fine art) analogy
Here you can see a new B&O audio&video concept that can satisfy every kind of customer. It can be purchased with a very small amount of money and is therefore suitable for any pocket.
If I'm honest I find the whole design concept to be a bit "blocky"!

I thought I'd post this link for a few reasons - It may end up one day being a B&O TV, It has an interesting list of specs (including downloadable apps etc) and also because of the remote (following a recent thread about iTouch add-ons) - a iTouch like device which can stream content from the TV to preview other channels stc (and will obviously

Don't get me wrong - the Beo5 remark was firmly Tongue-in-cheek! I think the concept is sound, but only as a stand-alone device, it's the "dongle" idea that I think is flawed.
