  • Re: Beolab 2500 or Beolab 4 ??

On paper, the spec of the BL2500s look a great deal better than the BL4s, and if I'm honest this time I do agree with these figures in pretty much any setup. As already mentioned, the BL2500s are more powerful and are therefore able to reproduce a warm and unstrained sound. These will fill a modest sized room very well as long as you don't play

  • Re: BeoLab 3 acoustic lens: metal or plastic ?

I did not notice this, and would be suprised if B&O did start making the ALTs for the BL3s out of metal, mainly because they don't need to. I doubt any of us considered it being plastic until we were given the hint that it wasn't. To make such an unusual and very accurate mould out of metal would be diffcult and pretty costly for B&O

  • Re: Have you seen this? Unbelievable

A Chelsea footballer recently bought this number plate for £1.4million: FU 9. He claimed there was no closer number plate to the strong English swear word beginning in F and ending in CK, and not the word firetruck.

I have to agree that number plates that say BAZZA or SOUSI etc just make me cringe, but I don't mind about more non-descript number plates. The ridiculous thing in the UK is that some number plates are valued in the millions. I remember being at an auction when a number plate K 10 was sold for £900,000 and this was a few years ago now too

  • Re: Serene or Beosound 1 ???

I would go for the BeoSound 1 without a doubt, it offers so much more for its buck than the Serene. The sound is extremely impressive from such a compact speaker and although it's not as portable as the BS3, I use it as a portable speaker around the house and garden. This means that I truly can have good sound anywhere in my home. It also looks

  • Re: BeoSound 6 first picture and details

Alex, if you're buying the BS6 for collecting purposes then I guess it doesn't really matter what it does or doesn't look like, as long as B&O discontinue it pretty soon and don't make that many either. I doubt many of us would mind if they did that either. Lol.

DiaBandO: Have to admit that I listened to the B&W speakers in the picture. They sounded better thans the BL1! More bass and a very warm sound. But hey, it is not B&O... OK, a little B&O (Ice). I won't buy them becuase the design is not appealing to me, I am saving fot the BL 9. They sure are ugly! However the B&W speakers I've

I am also for this idea, although not essential. I think we had this on the old BeoWorld.
