Ignace: It doesn't have a DVD biutton, but control is possible by selecting SHIFT + SAT [SHIFT] [CD] on my Beolink 1000.

tournedos: P = (1 - (10 / 700)) ^ 12 ~= 0.84 (or of course, simply the opposite of the one in six you mention). 1 - 0.84 = 0.16 ~= 1/6

Hide the converters first. They are easy to wallmount behind a couch or something, just two screws. Then choose cable length.
