Well being a Bang & Olufsen dealer doesn't mean they are all identical programmed robots - i've never met a dealer here with that attitude. Sorry to hear you're not happy. Even though my DVD1 (BC1) is sensitive, i've only had a couple of discs play up really, and oddly, i've watched some attrocious discs without a hitch.

The only time i've used the BS4 to record onto SD is when i didn't have a computer! The function is truly awful ( slow , no track names, poor quality etc.) so i organise my music on my mac before i play SD on the B&o. Works perfect for me, and being connected to the internet means all the track names are automatically attached to my mp3's

Yeah i'd go for the TV with the most options, i Have BC1 as a link system and it is lovely, but the sound is OK. The picture is what is fantastic. I upgraded from a BeoSound 1 and was dissapointed by the sound quality... but as an all in one soloution, it does everything and is totally loveable. I love it - flaws and all. insanely good value, go

It is quite right, this is a personal thing, i was just putting in my personal opinion, so no offence intended. i can not however, applaud the choice of only having the speaker in blue, the Blue BV7 together here would have made it appealing... i remember though that you bought this at a non B&O
