If you use Masterlink connection then you MUST use the IR eye. To use without the IR eye you need to use a fully wired (Mk2) powerlink cable.

Serial number beginning 13 indicates manufacture in 1998/9. The CD mech is specific to B&O and you will only be able to order the kit from B&O dealers.
