if you can afford a bno tv , i'm sure you can afford sky :)
The problem with Sky, Flappo, is that you have to have access to the roof and your landlord needs to agree. As many people live in flats, if there's no general Sky connection for the building, getting it installed is tricky.
Looks like finally they found the right SW
The weird thing is that the white flashes were fixed for me (and many others) back in sw 4.24 or something similar! Weird. Mind you, it's still pretty bad those white flashes were happening in the first place on a 1080P TV. You do have to ask how much testing they
There is actually no difference in the number of hdmi sockets between mkIII and MKIV, I installed HD turner, thats one hdmi gone, and for blueray playback I put in a PS3, thats another one gone.
Correct, and that's what's annoying - the fact that B&O used two of the external sockets for internal modules
After using it for a day, I am really satisfied with its picture and sound quality, well worth the money, BUT I feel HD is still better on my BV7-40 mkIII.
Hmm. I had my BV7-40 MKIV (same panel as the BV8-40) for 6 weeks before it was taken by my dealer and replaced with a newer BV7-40 MKIII, with a very recent
Can not say of course if you might have some odd fellow connected to your speakers, but I will at least give it a shot to switch.
Yep, could be the solution. Problem is that the dealer has glued them to my skirting (bottom of wall) Still won't explain why the slight buzzing was on the MKIV but not the MKIII
I believe your namesake has a pair about to hit the market at a fair bit less! I do agree with what your sentiments are but Beolab 5s are simply so good - we were chatting to a chap in marketing at B&O who has beolab 9s and 3s who then had a listen to a friend's system of just Beolab 5s - he thinks he has the

Although I'm massively impressed with the BV8-40, the BV8-32 uses a different chassis. The worst thing about my BV8-26 is the lack of glass screen cover, which means that it gets far greasier than my BV7-40 and is harder to keep clean. I used to own a MKI BV7-32 and borrowed a MKII BV7-32 for a month and was really impressed with SD on the panel

I have the 40GB model, which was made in 2007. Always silent, until it's in that cabinet. Problem is, I can't take it out now for logistical reasons.
HOWEVER...i just found out what Moxxey means with audio delay in linkrooms. I have connected my AppleTV to AV5 as this is the only one with analoge audio. The sound in linkrooms are now delayed a bit, as moxxey says, this does not work how it is supposed to. One more thing...WHY cant BS3 downscale ANY HDMI input and display

Oh yes, I re-read your post and you said you put your ear to the speakers. Exactly! Sitting 3 metres away you barely hear the hiss! It's there, and isn't on this MKIII I have now, so I don't know what changed on the MKIV to cause it?
