Brilliant news for Steve & richly deserved. He's one of the good guys Chris.

Not much I'm afraid We get a lot of questions re:- value of vintage products and in all honesty they are only worth what any one is prepared to pay. Condition is also very important and collectors look for this. The problem with older gear is amount of work needed to bring them back to tip top condition as many of the electronics will be worn or

"Horses for courses" as they say. I've owned countless Beovox models and my favouite all round ones are my MC120.2's which I would never part with. I run them with a Beomaster 5500 and they work fantastically well. The best sounding ones (IMO) were some MS150's but as Peter has already mentioned they can be used as tool sheds so

You could both well be right, I've lost count of the different speakers of this era I've worked on over the years and all sorts of different damping materials have been used in them. Short of taking my MC120.s off the wall taking them apart I'll bow to your knowledge. Chris.
I think I just heard a pin drop!!!
All you England fans out there can put this victory down to me alone. I refused to take off my lucky England shirt for the duration of the Oval test. I didn't half stink come 5.50pm yesterday but it was well worth it (plus I got a whole sofa to myself ). I couldn't
