Not that difficult, all screws on the back cover to be removed, then the lower board, after that the upper board to have acces to the tape unit which is fitted with 4 tiny screws. Probably Martin Dillen can supply the belts. I think he is reading all threads with the word "belts ?

I already took it apart but to reassemble it again I have to wait for the new belts. Hope Martin has some... Will take pictures tomorrow (beddy time now)!

I don't think it's harmfull, it's a sort of isolation material made of glass wool and can be very itchy when the inside touches the skin.
