• Re: I Adopted a Beogram 4002

I would be especially interested in seeing the ladies string up the dial cords in some radios and receivers

  • Re: Beolit Speaker Replacement Mission.....

Here you go Nigel. Sorry for the bad quality of my CAD program. I'm not going to remove the speaker so I can't get an exact measurement on the depth, but the magnet is pretty much as deep as there is space for, so it definitely can't be more than 50 mm from the front bezel surface (not the mounting surface) to the rear of the magnet. • Re: Beocenter 1400 burning fuses

I would replace that in any case - the resistor seems to be part of the biasing circuit and the value is way past the original tolerance of ±10%. Those carbon composition resistors often change their resistance permanently when they overheat. But, I would also concentrate on why the test voltage on TR19's base is so far off. It will have

  • Re: Beogram 5005

You have released the transport screws from underneath the turntable, haven't you? There's a small chance that somebody has retrofitted a RIAA amp in the Beogram. That is easy to check - just connect it to some other (line level) input on the Beomaster. If the sound is fine then, problem solved. But I suppose the seller would've informed

  • Re: Beolink 7000 recap?
Anyway, .22uF is the same as 220nF? I think this size does not fit in the SMD housing as shown in the picture, is it?
220 nF = 1/100 the capacitance of 22 uF... The physical size will have as much to do with the voltage rating as the capacitance. Those original SMD cans in the pictures will be good for either 0
How much is this value 226?
22 * 10^6 pF = 22 uF Anyway, seems I might just as well roll a dice for my shopping list if I want to be done within one evening
