  • Re: What will happen with BS9000

I do love the superbass, too. But only when it comes out of a subwoofer big like a washing machine ;-) That thing needs no loudness or sound adjustement; it just has natural power ;) back to topic: I hope that B&O will keep the BS9000 in the program, it's a very nice machine. Perhaps they can update it with MP3-Support from discs or s.th. like

  • Re: What's the difference between Scenes and Zones?

Ok, thanks, I knew that ZONES = ROOMS, but I don't understand when I see which zone on the screen when I press on the scene button. Actualy I don't see the relation between those scenes. For example: Why do I see my bedroom on a scene related to my living room?! Thank you for the tip with the scene-button! I'm gonna look for that tomorrow

Beofan2: From what I´m been told it´s not a bestseller. I believe Cd´s out in a few years. My dealer told me that BS5 comes with a new patented system to improve sound. Electronics to artificialy improve sound is NOT what I understand from Hi-Fi! Electronic corrections can be done by every cheapo company. In my opinion an audio device

  • What's the difference between Scenes and Zones?

Hi, could somebody explain to me what the exakt difference is between SCENES and ZONES? Actualy my brain seems to have some logical problem while operating the Beo 5 when I reach a scene-screen. btw: there's a bad bug in the config tool 1.30: When you change the color of the button "ZONES" it doesn't work anymore!

  • Re: Beo5 - where are we?

Good evening, would somebody be so kind to send me a download link via PN for the actual (1.30) configtool? I've got 1.02 from my dealer and it doesn't work with the Beo 5 1.34a Firmware :-( Thank you very much!

  • Re: My shiny new Beo 5 is broken?

Hi, I've charged it via power supply for about 5h now, it's full and it was recognized on another PC that does NOT have a SIS chipset. BUT: Now the software tells me "Configuration version mismatch (Configuration version mismatch)" when I try to download the configuration to my Beo 5! B&O Configtool Software-Version: 1.02 Beo 5

yep, I'm going to do so and I strongly hope that this isn't some kind of electrical design flaw from B&Os side ... :-( I'm gonna post tomorrow evening/night again when I'm at the office; oh and I'm legaly in the office, no burglar or s.th. like that ;-)

  • Re: My shiny new Beo 5 is broken?

Hello Peter, the Beo 5 already has Firmware 1.34a. My dealer did the update for me. This was the 1st thing I asked him ;-) Ok, I'm doing a complete recharge tomorrow and will try again (fingers crossing). Is there any way to "reset" (without losing data) the Beo 5? Thanks again

  • My shiny new Beo 5 is broken?

Good evening, so yesterday I bought the Beo 5 and was very happy. I charged it yesterday afternoon and played with it about 20min between yesterday evening and today afternoon. Than I installed the software on a Computer with SIS-Chipset and the computer didn't recognized my Beo5. "Unknown USB-Device" (I hate Windows). Ok, I thought I'm
