They have an Amp integrated, so you need to look for a regulated line out on your amplifier. Most likely (if it has that at all) that would require a cinch connection. While powerlink to 3.5mm stereo are quite frequent and available on ebay, powerlink to cinch I havent seen but you could get that with another adapter inbetween. I would ask my dealer

I saw these in San Francisco, they have Han Spree store.. I think they are a neat twist on Sony and friends but I guess more for teens and twens. I think they are more common in US then in Europe. JK

I am not 100% sure but believe that some of the BVs/BCs could use DVI only to connect a PC and it would not allow surround with that connection, it would look at the analogue ports. Can you try setting up a analogue video port to work with the digital input and have the mini mac connected without video to test? http://forum.beoworld.org/forums/thread

I am using the A8 with my Ipod for a couple of years now. No complaints here. Huge difference to the white ones. I actually do have the some "Shure" ones as well, however they don't work as well as they do no not seem to fit my ears properly nd that seams to be key for them.

I would think that depends on the version that you have. There are MK1 and MK2. Then on top after the MK2 was released they changed again and added a tiny little speaker under teh aluminium to gice audible feedback. So what version do you have? I have a 2008 MK2 without the speaker, US model. Cheers JK

I know the port for connecting an IR eye is there, I am just not sure if it is really active. The setup manual ignores it somehow. My understanding is, that normally the IR eye is used for products that do not have their own IR. I.e. Beoport. Beosystem 1, 2 and 3. Beolink Passice or Active. Maybe ask again in the general forum, it will get a bit more
