Yes, my first thought was "options" but the BM won't accept ANY remote commands, not even STBY!

There is an adjustment for the diaphragm which is described on page 5-3 in the service manual. Problems with the bulb or photo resistor have normally manifested themselves as a lack of movement rather than continuous movement in my experience but I suppose it is conceivable for the resistor to go closed circuit?? I have never known one to go out of

I have a Beomaster 6500 which does not respond to any remotes. I have tried MCP6500 (works OK on another 6500 sysyem), Beolink 1000 and Beo4 - Nothing happens. The Beomaster seems to work work OK in that it will play sources if you select them . Just no remote control????? What to do??
