• Re: Beobundle
so the beovox 1001s aren't as bad as my father led me to believe? He had them as rear speakers in his beomaster 4400 setup. Main speakers were massive great beovoxes that would shake the whole row of houses when he cranked his Buddy Rich albums up to eleven!
A 4400 is probably too much for them, I'd

I'm sure it is if you need one... not that often seen (ST6500 I think). Otherwise it will be just a pile of metal clogging up your closet
However, among my various bits and pieces lying arouind as 'future projects' is a Beomaster 1001 - I thought a pair of Boovox 1001s might just take the edge off the craving for a few months, at hopefully not too great a cost!
I almost bought some with the same deal I got my Beolit 1000, the seller offered

It is probably some generic 2x115V / 24V PCB mounted transformer, but to find a 3rd party replacement anywhere you would need to know the power rating and the

Unfortunately I can't check for a while as it is currently in storage far away, but I'm sure it had some kind of a voltage selector. I bought it from Germany and oddly enough it had the stereo decoder as well (of course it could be a retrofit). From the front, it is identical to the "proper" 900K I found here locally, unless the scale

Martin
My 900k that you did a couple of things to is an S290 but I dont know if there are any differences between it and a slightly later 900k
I have an S290 as well, and so did another

  • Re: 2 way remote BL7000 and Beo4

No it's not. The update happens immediately when using a 2-way remote, since the Beomaster knows that it needs to reply so that the remote knows the command went through. This doesn't happen with a Beo4 as the airspace needs to be kept free so to speak, and the Beomaster broadcasts a status update to all remotes at its own leisure some time
