Guten Tag liebes Forum, ich werde nächste Woche eine Beosound 3000 bekommen, die noch mit SW1.1 augestattet ist. Um N.Music (via Beoport/IR Eye/BM-Link/Mac Mini) nutzen zu können, muss ich nun upgraden (mind. SW 2.12). Was benötige ich hierzu? Wie schwer ist der Umbau? Schließe mich hier mal mit einer Frage an: Ich besitz eine digitale SAT Anlage, im Wohnzimmer und Schlafzimmer sind jeweils Dosen mit SAT, Radio und TV. Kann ich die TV Buchsen einfach für meine RF Verlinkung nutzen. Theoretisch wäre es ein Stern-Struktur... Hat das jemand schon mal probiert? Das könnte für mich hilfreich sein

Peter, that is why I changed my Beosound 2500 to an Ouverture, to make use of the AUX input using a mac mini. The aux in the Beosound 2500 was blocked for the ML converter (type 1614 or type 1611). So, if you want the Beosound as an audio master in your setup and make use of the aux input (aux is in and output!), you need to change to an Ouverture

Look for Lexcom cables (ethernet to Masterlink or Powerlink). Use CAT7 cabling (shielded) and you will be futureproof. Look at one of my posts for pictures on this issue. Ralf
