From what I have been told (not only here on Beoworld) the Beosound5 will only be a hard disc, no CD or DVD player.

Can anybody explain me the differences (if there are any) between the two products? I am looking for an answering machine to add to my recently bought BeoCom6000. Will they both work with it? Thanks for your help!

I don't think we need to discuss the value B&O products have for us here on this forum. The only thing I want to add is this question: how many of the salesmen in an audiophile- or electronics-store have ever owned/ regularly used a B&O product and what is their judgment based on?
