Not a fan - but 50 is far too young :(

I wish! Here in the UK older B&O stuff is a rarity, but I did once find a 100% mint Beolit 609 in the charity shop at the end of my old street in Sheffield. The tuner section needed some new caps, and it was through this forum that I was put in contact with Tim Jarman who was able to fix it up for me. Needless to say that Tim has had other things

I think Chris is right about the amp in the 9500 - not B&O's best ever.... In that case it might not be man enough for the Beovox Pentas, but an early pair of Beolab Pentas would not set you back that much more than the Beovoxes, and having the inbuilt 150w amp, will have more than enough power to keep you entertained! I've been pondering this question for a good few minutes now, and find it hard to decide between my two Beolit 600s and my Beomaster 6000 Quad. I'd be interested to hear what others think (I'm sure some Beolab
....and they bounced back from that! I think B&O will survive this too. Andy T.
I think they had a better product mix and pricing policy back then Andy!

First critical article I've read in support of analogue vs. DAB. Shame it had to be Libby Purves, but you can't have everything I suppose...

The northern response is you're a lucky g*t then :)

OMG - Well done sir! Beats my free Beosystem 6000 hands down :)
