Correct, i had the same with a MX7000 IT. With Beolink 1000, i could only control the stand from within the on screen menu.

Alex: And much better sound maybe with an built in surround emulator for the built in speakers. Would/could this use f.e. the built-in speakers as centre speaker whilst the external Beolab speakers would be used for Front L+ R, and so on ?
