• Re: Completely off topic - Bridge Terenez
Of course the Gateshead one actually tips up to let boats through as well! Wonderful device!
Peter !! I am shocked !!!!! My picture is of the Gateshead bridge :) I put 'ours' in quotes because of course it is yours but not really mine ... well it was but only for a short time, too short I still have many

  • Re: The last film you watched and said "I really enjoyed that"

I watched a range of SciFi trailers last night with the volume cranked up the trailers (and probably the movies) had no redeeming social or philosophical values but "I really enjoyed that" deep bass effect from rockets, laser blasts, and explosions on the BeoLab 11 of course I then got into trouble from the missus which is why I then tuned
Film worth looking at. http://www.meridian-audio.com/static/sooloos
A very interesting and relevant clip ... but probably too complicated for a lazy sod like myself Last night I watched a performance of "Carmen" on 'sTVdio' and when it finished I wanted to listen to some of my favourite

I now realise, the Tyne bridge is Terenez but just as an infant, several years ago!
It may be bigger and it may be a road bridge but curved bridges are pretty old hat now!
yes, but "ours" moves in a strong wind

  • Re: Top 10 Dealers in Europe and U.S.A

One very good store is Newcastle's Gray Street for their after hour events ... I have tried to encourage the local Melbourne stores to do their own thing too Newcastle was also good because their BeoLiving area in their basement illustrated three rooms including a kitchen All three Melbourne stores are great because of their staff I too like to

  • Re: BeoWorld Asia??

Apart from the few non-English subforums we have, I'd much rather see division by topic as it mostly is now. The Workshop, Vintage and Beogram subforums work well in my view, and probably deserve their isolation because the majority of the readers don't seem interested in them

  • Re: LinkPlayer Feedback Thread
So, two weeks ago, I decided to bite the bullet and to rebuild ... completely, using a much better internal architecture, and a much cleaner code. The new architecture is optimised to take into account all the things I have learned since the start of the project, and the feedback/issues that were reported to me.[/quote
I think a visit to Ground Zero is worthwhile. Last I'd heard Freedom Tower stood at 65 stories.
I agree that paying homage at Ground Zero is a must. Visit the church opposite which was a sanctuary for those involved in the recovery operation. Also from there head for the Hudson River nearby, and the memorial

  • Re: BeoLab 2 or 11
Would look at eventually going for a 5.1 surround sound. So will go from a BeoVision 10-46 and BeoLab 6000 to an eventual 5.1 system with the addition of a sub-woofer and another set of speakers In to all sorts of movies but probably 1 in 5 movies would be some big action movie
I think you should work with your
