Owning BL6000 for 2 years, I am a little confused by your impressions. It sure is true that they lack a little of bass, but I never found the sound one-dimensional. In 04/07, I upgraded to BL8000 and put the BL6000 in the rear, and the difference between the 2 sets is huge! You will not regret it, especially if you add a BL2.
