In general I have no problems with buying Beo products but selling them is a problem for me. So I like the BS9000 and we have a lot of CDs. We also have a Beolink system and it`s possible to listen to CD or FM radio in the kitchen,bedroom or bathroom while listening to BS5 in the mainroom (in PC mode). Nothing wrong. If you set up your BV1 as a link-TV it is just possible to set the timer to on/off via your linkroom. The play timer "expects" the audiomaster to play and is set up in your mainroom....maybe it`s time for a Beotime...? Stefan

BM5 has 2 DVI outputs, the first for the BS3 and the second for BS5. You can use a DVI - VGA cable and assign VGA to AV5, or a DVI - HDMI cable and assign one of the four HDMI inputs to AV5. The video cable - I assume you are talking about the composite out with "video cable" is quite useless at the moment. Hope this helps. Stefan
