Pim, Its a software bug in the Configuration software, it is trying to assign a non existant softkey to a hardkey. To solve the problem search the "Configuration.xml" file for the following string and remove the whole line :- ZONES\WOONKAMER\SCENE\SCENE-1
-
Your said:-
I put the Ouverture in standby, then pressed list to bring up SHIFT on the display of the Beo4, then pressed 9 0 but the Ouverture then came out of standby and UNKNOWN flashed on the display of the Ouverture
After you pressed LIST and found SHIFT, did you press OK before pressing 9 etc ?

The seller is apparently selling a B&O compatible Force D-Master and so is advertising that it is a unit which will work using the "AVL" signal on the SCART connector, in other words NOT using the PUC/STB-C It is true that the D-Master has been available in the STB-C and PUC for a long time, but the seller does not know the configuration
-
NO, it means you can take a configuration and import or export into teh Configuration Tool.

The Force D-Master will work if either:- It is a Force D-Master compatible model, it will have a label on the bottom of the unit to say so; OR It is connected to a Beovision with the STB-C or PUC set to Force D-Master If the unit is a B&O compatible model, then it uses the AVL signal on the SCART

I can confirm that your solution works very well.. Thank you very much for all your research...

Quim, You can charge via the USB PROVIDED the USB hub has its own power supply. If the HUB does not have a power supply, then it will more than likely discharge the Beo5 battery. I agree with Burnix points and it will take a long time to charge using the USB method.

As with all versions of the Beo5 Configuration Tool it is/was intended for B&O dealers only, to provide a service to their customers and not for general release to customers. However, a large number of dealers provide a copy when a Beo5 has been sold and so many B&O customers have the tool.
