  • Re: Beogram 3000 not working, Help!

Welcome to Beoworld. You need to have a record on the platter or this will be the exact outcome. There is a built in safety function which stops the tonaerm from setting down if there isn't a record present. Chris.

I quite like the design especially the screen. Chris.

  • Re: Beosystem 7000

Hi Jason, You're proably right about it being a 5 battery cell - it's been quite some time since I opened one of these. If that's the case then THIS is the type of battery pack you want. The antennea will be available from B&O, the FM rabbit ear types will be the same as used with the Beosound Ouverture/3200 system and clips into a V

Welcome to Beoworld Very nice system (I also have one). Please don't consider one of these so called copies as I promse you that you'll be disappointed with it. The beolink 7000 is a truly iconic peice of B&O but not the best for every day use. What you want is a Beolink 1000 or a Beo4 , you can also use the 2 way Beolink 5000 but these

  • Re: one of those trivial questions!

Hi Abbie, Both the 901 & 3000 are excellent amplifiers and will be perfect with the Beograms you mentioned. No need to worry about RIAA pre-amps as both these Beomasters have them built in. I agree with your liking for these, very cool looking is only the start with this series of tuner/amps as the quality carries on throughout the build. Add a

  • Re: Beosystem 6500 in white - No sound

Happy days Jan I really should have thought about the DIN plug being a problem as it is quite common for the plugs on Beograms failing due to the tight angle in which they fit into the Beomasters - Doh! In my own defence though, the fact that you got any sond at all threw me slightly away from this. Glad everything is now OK and well done on your latest

  • Re: Beogram 4000 speed problem

Ask for your money back as it clearly isn't fully working. It sounds like you have a fair bit of work ahead of you plus expenses to replace the cartridge. I'm not aware of anyone who can resurrect a dead channel on these cartridges. Chris.

  • Re: How independent is Beoworld?

[quote user="Ian"] The 'sponsors' of Beoword are: LifestyleAV, Struer Design, Sounds Heavenly and STB Brackets. Obviously we know that Lifestyle AV is owned/run by Lee Marriott, Struer Design is owned by John Marriott, and Sounds Heavenly is owned by Steve Marriott. It looks less likely that 'only 1 business per genre can advertise'

  • Re: Replacement Panels for 5000 / 5500

Not difficult to remove at all Simon. They are held on with B&O's usual cop-out - double sided sticky tape Chris.

[quote user="Iconic-AV"] This is the last I will add on this thread as it also saddens me to see the same thing been brought up time and time again and for the record has personally really upset me to have added my voice to this now boring issue, I only ever mentioned something similar when I first opened our website mainly out of sheer excitement
