This was a great thread. I was super interested in the 1702's during the winter time as I was looking for some small speakers. As Martin states, they are rare - haven't come across one single pair. I'm deff bummed you didn't get to restore them Chris.

Of all the B&O tv's ever, the BeoVision 9 was my all-time favorite. I was genuinely sad to see it go. But the BeoVison 10-32 really has my attention. I love the white fret and manageable size. It seems perfect!

There is a very informative YouTube video that compares real and fake regarding many factors beyond packaging. The video is even pinned at the top of the eBay thread. The easiest to spot is the leather pouch, the fake one is really sloppy.
