Ich vermute mal, dass Deine Settop-Box zwingend an AV angeschlossen werden muß und durch den Einbau des Controllers die Möglichkeit einer anderweitigen Konfiguration des AV-Eingangs versperrt wurde. Mein Avant ist zwar bereits 12 Jahre alt, als ich mir jedoch vor ca. 3 Jahren den Settop-Box-Controller habe einbauen lassen, hatte der Avant kurz zuvor

Du hast ja wohl Deine Nokia-Box an AV angeschlossen, dort musst Du den DVD1 anschließen und die Box an DECODER. Bei mir steht im Sources-Menue links AV, den ich z.B. auf DVD einstellen kann und rechts DECODER, den ich auf AUTO oder Settop-Box einstellen kann. Wenn ich bei Settop-Box auf GO drücke, kann ich die Settop-Box auswählen.

Hallo pauel! Du musst den DVD1 am AV-Scart-Eingang anschließen und ihn im Sources-Menue als DVD registrieren. Dann müsste der DVD1 mit der DVD-Taste der Beo4 aufgerufen und bedient werden können (bei älteren Beo4 musst Du DVD erst über List auswählen und ggf. vorher hinzufügen). So funzt es jedenfalls mit meinem DVD2, der DVD1 dürfte diesbzgl. nicht

A member in the German Forum (I think a dealer with internal information) mentioned the hard disk addition to Beosystem 3 based TV´s until christmas. Also in this forum another member told that the internal HD-module will be upgradable with a hard disk soon. And this is very reasonable, take a look at the HD-module, you are able to program timer recordings

Yes, the BV10 supports link setups, but you will need an additional "RF Link Amplifier". It´s only a little box, but difficult to hide if BV10 is wall mounted. This amplifier is also needed p.e. for a BV7, in the past (p.e. for an Avant) it was integreated (better solution in my opinion). Regards Räuber

Actually I have an Avant 32 with two Beolabs 1 and two Beolabs 6000. Although the distance to the TV is only 9 feet, I think I MUST go for a BV 7-55, I love it! Regards Räuber

@Ehlers: I was in the store today to have a look at the new BV10-46. I noticed the version of the hd-module is 1.4.0.0, the version of my BV10-40 is 1.3.4.0. Is this already the update of the module suspected May 18th? I hope not, because the EPG is still a horror with 1.4.0.0! Regards Räuber
