trying to recall this from memory... go to the channel you want to delete, go to the second tuning menu, move cursor to STORE, change to DELETE using the down arrow, and GO. Ralf

And if you delete all tv channels except for #1, pressing tv will always go to channel 1 thus using the cable box. Ralf
