My Beocenter 7000 arrived over the weekend and I am very happy with it. It came with a MMC2 0E cartridge that appears to be in GWO. I also have an MMC 20S cartridge from a non-working Beocenter 2000. A also tried it with the MMC 20E from by Beocenter 5000 with the dodgy turntable (see one of my other threads) In theory the MMC 20E is a 'better'

Kevin I took it apart last night. Part of the problem was the anti-skating which I have now dealt with by moving the slider I haven't been able to find the damper though? Could you describe it to me please? Also the SQ is poor unless I track at around 4-5 grams, I have tried this with a couple of different cartridges. Tracking at 1.5g it scarcely

I have been looking for a while! Good quality cartridges are rare and getting more sought after, and are fetching some very fancy prices on ebay. If you do find a cost-effective soure I would like to know about it too! Simon
