Well mine sat a little below the rest of the body, and mine was not glass, it was plastic. I can be fussy too at times, and the thing that kind of disappointed me about the BS1's quality was when i was in the room with it, and ejected a CD, the plastic parts creaked! Yuck! That's what i don't miss about it, i wasn't keen on the feel

I'm judging it on the way it looks and how much it costs. I'm now totally aclimatised to B&O where the aesthetics and userinteraction are as important as performance. When something costs that much, it has to tick all the boxes!

I'm sorry, but it looks old and cheap! Haven't seen it in person of course but B&O's systems were better designed than this in the early 70's!! Bet you a million bucks it doesn't sound as good as a pair of BL5's - which would you choose? I'd rather buy BL5's and even donate the rest to charities! I'd still have

I saw that and thought it looked utterly grotesque! It will look much nicer with the updated frame design, the BL7- 2 and on the motorised table stand from BV7-40, the taller stand looks too awkward and high for the 50" panel, that's my opinion anyway.

Well, this is the second dodgy issue you have had with this item, get your money back or have it replaced with a machine that is in working condition. Calm down and please do not get frustrated with us, or the manufacturer. Both of the aforementioned have nothing to do with this issue. We are here to help as best we can - free of charge
