If you see a picture for a very short time, then it could be a fault in the line output stage, the power line could be low causing the line oscillator to stop running. If you have young "Ears" you should be able to hear the change in frequency. No matter what the cause you will need a B&O/TV engineer to fix this problem.

Prior to entering the EDIT section it is likely you have deleted a needed function. As a general rule do not delete items, if they are unwanted then just hide them. The Beo5 Configuration Tool is not very good at deleting items successfully from a configuration without causing other issues. The quickest way to recover from this situation is actually

Not sure I completely understand your question. If you are asking:- Can I make a macro of " FORMAT 0 " and Sanyo ON-OFF then the answer is YES In the Configuration Tool right click on the Sanyo ON-OFF button and then left click PROPERTIES then click tab IR In the Command name use PICTURE_FORMAT and press ADD

The DVD1 can be put into standby depending of the software version of the AVANT. The switching to standby is not instant, there is a fairly long delay after pressing DVD then STOP then STOP What type number is your AVANT ? Do you know what software version it has loaded in it ?

Frank, If you upload your "Configuration.xml" file HERE then I will have a look at it. It is more than likely that you have deleted some item(s) which has caused this problem. The Configuration Tool is very bad at handling the deletion of items and I always recommend that unwanted items should be hidden and not deleted. Whilst everything appears

As part of Lutron's partnership with B&O, they have recently introduced B&O compatible Lutron Rania's which as far as I am aware are only available via B&O dealers. Certainly the standard remote version will be considerably cheaper because they can even be purchased from places such as Screwfix, but you can only use them with the

I would recommend the Lutron Rania dimmers for the following reasons:- No need to re-wire the light switch as they do not need a neutral connection (particularly important in the UK) They can be controlled by the Beo5, XML file available on the Beo5 Download site You can use up to 4 Rania units to control different zones and therefore use "One"

The cover is held in 4 places as shown below. The correct way of opening the unit is to slip the tool or very thin flexible blade either side of the top of the battery compartment allowing the back to lift 1-2 mm, with both sides lifted a couple of milli metres, then insert the tool near the ear piece and the phone will come appart

Taking your questions in the same order here are my comments:- P.MUTE uses code 0:000:TV:PICTURE_TOGGLE and is in the IR list but does not come up when you type in PMUTE Click the EDIT tab and use the BUTTON CLIPBOARD to move (drag) buttons from page to page. In other words, if you want some from page 3 on Page 1, then move them from page 3 to the clipboard

To clarify my previous posting back in March on the subject:- The problem some people have from time to time with downloading manuals is NOT corrupt files. The problem is a software problem on the Beoworld web server and we know the caused, but because there is a significate coding re-write required to fix it, it has not been scheduled. The new server
