New doors are available from your dealer. Can be ordered individually. The same doors are still being fitted to current production BS3200's.

If you fancy a tangential deck then the best value for money and a good cosmetic match would be a Beogram 3000 or 3300. Ensure that the stylus/cartridge is good (Should have MMC4 ) because they are hellish expensive to replace.

Personally, I don't believe that the Beogram 9000 is a good cosmetic match so I would look at others. You can use any turntable that does NOT have a built in RIAA pre-amp. See here http://www.beoworld.org/article_view.asp?id=67

Anyone know why the Beoworld Forum server is so slow?

I am pretty sure that you can't lock the doors on an Ouverture. It does not mention the facility in my service manual. This facility did not appear until 3000/3200 software.

They are not B&O but if they do the job that's fine. B&O have just changed the spec to a fully shielded design and they are much thicker than the originals. I am told that the uprated spec is to allow for "future developments". Part number for the latest 5m P/L Mk2 Fully shielded is 6270931. I am yet to test them.
