B&O came up with a 'special' cleaning paste for the BeoSound 4, available through B&O service agents. 'OOOOH' i thought, 'a B&O branded and approved cleaning product.. how exciting!' It turned up, wrapped in the official B&O green tissue paper - and when i enthusiastically unwrapped it.. this fell out. Available

When we get BeoLab 8000's like this we detach them from the speaker, clean and scrub them in hot soapy water, rough them up with wire wool then re-spray them with satin black car bumper paint. We use bumper paint as it's slightly rubberised, can take knocks, and never flakes off. If i was looking to restore the lustre on original unpainted ones

Yes, it's a B&O product. In my own opinion, overpriced Ikea standard tat - but yes, it's B&O. It's model number will probably start with SC, but i'm not sure which one it was.. Lee

Yes, it does come in Gold - i've seen a screen shot of it on the internal news.. Sorry, but it's not my cup of tea - but we're all individual and they will sell or B&O wouldn't make them! Lee

Out with the LX - a faithful servant for a great number of years Mr van der Wateren needed to have a 'room re-arrange' first though, so we parked his new (colossal) TV on his table for the moment. Mrs van der Wateren disappeared to get cake to replenish energy expended during installation..
