bayerische: Is the beosound 2 any good? compared to the Sony the Bang & Olufsen only matches in terms of buildquality. The Sony does NOT make any "plop" like noises when switching on like my Beosound 2 does so in "electrical design" terms the Beosound is realy primitive. Hard words but that's the truth; the sound quality

Sony NWZ-A818: Great sound and building quality and drag&drop on PC and Mac. Or if you're a frequent traveler try Sonys new S-Series with active noise cancellation!

Peter : To be fair, the issue is that it could be possible (if not that likely) that B&O could make a holder with no charging facility. I do have a beautifully turned metal stand for mine (Thanks Richard!) but this has no charging connections. In this case, the wall holder is a charger and is available now - the part number is 1159366 . It will

It's plugged into the mains charger. I thought the same as you that the Beo 5 charger is intelligent enough but I'm a little bit confused about this "charging" message after >9 hours of charing!? Is this normal behaviour? Does your Beo 5 show the same? Please tell me YES ;-)

can anybody confirm the wallcharger in Week 42? I called my dealer today and he doesn't know anything about it?! Would be nice if B&O is offering two versions: - the "active" with charging functionality - the "passive" that just acts as a wallbracket like for the Beo 4

Good evening (in my timezone) ;-) I put the Beo 5 on its charger yesterday evening and checked it this noon and the display was still showing "charging". Is this normal behaviour? Thanks btw: My battery life seems to be ca. one week off the charger. That's okay.
