Talk to Brett when he calls next Sunday. Against my advice, he has just refoamed a pair of Penta II and will be able to give you all the information! Personally, I have bought replacement drivers in the past and they are still available at around £25-£30 each.

I have a couple of Steve's turntable shelves in stock if he hasn't got any. Same deal as Steve charges. The Ouverture does have datalink but the 3000 and 3200 do not. For record decks with built in RIAA pre amp the datalink is on pin 7 of the din plug. Those decks are wired accordingly and are a simple plug in to suitable devices such as Beocenter

Don't forget that when you bypass or disable the riaa in the deck, you will need to change the datalink from pin 7 to pin 6 in the plug!

I don't believe that this damage is anything to do with the tangential tracking system. The cause is more likely due to abuse by the user or to transit damage exacerbated by idiot eBay sellers who send these decks through the parcel courier system with inadequate and/or misplaced packaging! If I buy a deck on eBay and have it shipped to me, I now

I require a working processor board from a Beomaster 5500, 6500 or 7000 Can anyone help!

I have had experience of most B&O cd players and post CD50 and CDX I notice no audible difference between any of them up to and including Beosound 9000. Beolab 8000's are daisy chained (looped?) using a powerlink Y adapter as described in the user guide which of course is usually consigned to the bin!
