Hmm maybe I stick with DVD2 then and wait half a year and see what happends.....
-
The Stig - ver. 1.3: It uses the scart connection to know if the DVD is powered on or off (pin8) and for link signal... so I can not use composite?
-
So if I buy a Sony I use HDMI for BV9 and composite/scart för link
-
The Stig - ver. 1.3: ....mr anders(son): Hmm so I think it´s gonna be a Sony Blueray then with STB Yes but it also vil need the scart connection if you want to use it with the PUC controler I thought when you use Non B&O you use low ir cable for command
-
Hmm so I think it´s gonna be a Sony Blueray then with STB
-
So Beo4 command use scart? So you can not use HDMI only?
-
The Stig - ver. 1.3: OK If you call DVD2 "DVD" in connection menu it works like a DVD when you turn it on, if it's called V-mem it works like a Hdd recorder. And V.aux it starts in time shift mode... As you have HDR2 you would call it DVD because that is the function you will use.
-
Hmm I dont understand???? I have HDR2 in BV9 so V.MEM is busy
-
tom: ....mr anders(son): Yeah Blueray is big and not so expensive so I can swap later on if it turns another way And I have BS9000 so I dont want BC2 (I had it) OK, I can understand that! Why didn't you like the BC2? I`ll loved it but when I bought BV7-40 I had DVD inbuilt, so I sold my BC2
-
tom: Do you think time has already come to chose between BlueRay and HDDDV? For me, it seems to be to early to make that choice, I'd wait at least 2 more years. IMO, DVD still is the best option for the moment. I would not spend the money for a B&O DVD2, but as BC2 is a music center too, it would consider it, if I was in the situation. Otherwise
