Holy moley that picture makes me look like I need to be walking around saying, "Yes, master!"
See JandyT's thread he used the duster attachment.
I know, I know, I was trying to be funny. My wife, er, SWMBO, who took the picture for me, didn't think it was
A lot of work for a simple little dial cover. I am convinced we are all nuts.
Well, duh! See if anyone get's this Beavis and Butthead quote: "Hey, Uncle Charlie. Sounds like a lot of work to me." My wife has been saying that ever since I got the M70s back out.
Very glad you got it all original. These Beolit's are worth it! Winning prize draws is just a double bonus!

  • Re: Beovox M70 Rescue & Adoption

I just discovered that my 3 year-old daughter pressed in the dust cup of one of the phase links in the past day or so. Anyone have a suggested fix before I try the masking tape method?

Before I took the stands out to the garage yesterday (they're still a bit sticky so still out there), I made a crude measurement of the frequency response of the M70s (and sort of the entire system). I ripped the Stereophile Test CD 3 and transferred the 1/3 octave test tones onto my iPod, plus the 1,000 Hz Pink Noise Test Tone from original Stereophile

I see Kevin is missing the tuner preset cover, as is every 4400 I can remember seeing for sale on Ebay. I'm starting to think the part never existed!
