First of all I think you will confirm that it will appear on the service menu thus it was installed correctly. I'm not sure but maybe it also needs a confirmation to work. But I would advise you to check the service manual. I think it should be here for gold/silver members at the download area.

I think that 99,9% should be the ML cable!! Just make a new one and give it a try. It should work.

I actually had the same problem and the solution was cheap, fast, stable and still working!!! Since my house is 4 floors fully linked it was almost impossible to have a wireless signal everywhere. Difficult!!! You have to set them both on option 5 but the point is that they will both switch on and off everytime you press e.g. Radio or any other command!!! Still I cannot understand why you need both in the same room!!
