• Re: beocenter 7002

I'd go for RL140s if you've got the space. A nice big speaker with tonnes of power!! The 7002 will have plenty of shove for these, and the redlines are a beautiful looking speaker..

I'm looking for a Beolab 2000 that is working. I don't need a pretty one as I have one in perfect condition that doesn't work, so basically I just need the internals. Please reply here or send me a PM

  • Re: 240V Beosound to beolink pass 120V to passive speakers?

each runs a seperate power supply, so doesn't affect each other. Powerlink cables do not run a power supply through them, so you'll be safe. Just make sure you use a step down transformer for the 120v item otherwise you'll cook it!

They will just have two wires to connect to a passive link on a stereo. The system, is it a Beocenter 4000? This should have passive inputs that are not voltage dependant. Passive speakers do not require power

... but they stopped having the two way function ...
I am not exactly sure what you mean but... I once had a BeoLink 5000 remote and found when the batteries were low, it swithced to one-way. What I did was to install new batteries and set the remote up for two-way again. Then

Very nice!!! If you need a remote, drop me a line. I've got either a Beolink 1000 (the remote that originally came with that system) or a Beo4 that I can sell to you. I'm in Melbourne too! Regards, Jonathan
