It should work! I've checked the manual and can not find the instruction on how to check the option setting of the system via a BL1000... You don't a have a beo4 do you.

I don't know anything about this, but i know in the service menu there is an option "chassis variant" and you can toggle on or off whether or not there is the VHS present... try that?

What i've done, is connect the AUX straight to the computer via 3.5mm jack. Beoport does not have sound processing does it? As far as i know, it doesn't. It functions to allow remote control via Beo4 of computer music, and access to internet radio...
