My BM5 is connected to my BV7-40 MKIII via Masterlink (for controling and distributing sound to link rooms), spdif (for digital audio), stereo rca cable (analogue audio), HDMI cable (DVI - HDMI, for picture), and rca video cable (for distributing composite video to link rooms - "future use"). Yes, strange. Seems as if the Beolink system doesn`t detect your BM1 at all. Have you set the correct options to your setup? And did you try a reset of the BV7 after installing the BM1? Just disconnect your BV from the mains and reconnect it after 10 minutes. Maybe this helps. Stefan
