...........and that is really my point! The BS9000's exposed functionality is beautiful to look at - but It is functional, the movement isn't gratuitous. Other automation is similar....... the doors of the Ouverture, the measurement mic of the BL5's, the rotating stands of other TV's to suit your seating

  • Re: Is B&O coming with an separate Bluray player soon?

I'm still sticking by this opinion - blue-ray is just not a media format i take seriously. Don't see it taking off!

well enjoy focussing on every possible negative of the concept, then sure! It's a cool product, a screen that rolls up out of the way is simply that, only B&O would make a huge screen as awestriking, individual and beautiful as this. If i had the space and the dosh, i'd dive in head first and obtain one, i think it's utterly brilliant
...The thing is, i can't get my head around the BV8's lack of magic. It doesn't have the electronic curtains and it doesn't have motorised options, and besides the picture quality, those attributes are vital to a B&O television!! It's a ritual for me to come home from work and turn on the TV, always

  • Re: How NOT to present a Beovision plasma!
Although I dont disagree with anything that has been said here, I think the majority of forum members are looking at this with a Europhile-tech view and perhaps not the same view as many customers in this region. Putting perhaps Singapore and Japan aside, your average well-healed SE Asia family probably earns $500
One more picture,
I LOVE the Beosound 9000, looks fabulous as always, and the red rug looks great with it's red lighting. I really do like the design of the BV8. The thing is, i can't get my head around the BV8's lack of magic. It doesn't have the electronic curtains and it doesn't have motorised
Well, it´s mainly to please the missus... But it works fine anyway. Tilted downwards. I don´t use it for TV sound. And my main listening position for Music is right in the sweetspot.
So HOW tall are you??
