Mon revendeur à Luxembourg était déjà au courant du Beosound5 en novembre 2007. Je dirais plutôt que tes revendeurs ne voulaient rien dire mais auraient pu s'ils auraient volu...

I spoke with my dealer here in Luxembourg about the Beosound5 some months ago (must have been 11/07), and he knew the product, knew some of the features... So it sure is no "secret project".

Never heard of that MacBook before, but it sure looks very good. If it performs as well as it looks, it really is a must-have!

Very interesting post, Joe. I guess you could not take any pictures in the factory, but could you tell us what products are being assembled or built in the czech factory?

Jandyt: Andy T . (proud owner of Bangolink 7000, Bango5, Bangavant, Bangolab Penta etc ) That is Andy at his best! Didn't you forget the " Bangworld 's second first prize winner"??

The BL1 are IMO without any doubt superior to BL8000, but the sound difference is not the same as the price difference. IMO, BL8000 is better value for money, but I have only had the occasion to compare them at my dealer...

Oh no! What the hell did that man intend to tell us with that cycle?
-
Jandyt: Well a grand total of almost 1000 canadian dollars is about 511 pounds, so it isn't much more than what I paid but don't forget the base charger was included. Some dealers are charging seperately for the charger. Andy T. 511£ for a Beo5??? That is over 670 €! I paid 520 € (392£) for mine, and configuration was free

I just checked the service menu of my BV7 (MKII), but I can't find how to adjust the backlight, so I can't tell you what the initial setting is, as I never changed it. Could you tell me in what menu-page you change that setting, I will check it for you?

Hi and welcome to the beoworld! Make sure you have put the music in a folder on the sdcard. The BS4 needs the songs organized like this: folder1 (song1; song2; song3...) folder2 (song1; song2; song3...) ... this is the only way that the BS4 will be able to read the songs. IMO, the easiest way to put music onto an sdcard is to do it with drag and drop
