You need a Masterlink cable (to transfer sound and data/commands) AND a aerial cable for the video. An aerial cable comes from the roof and goes to the B&O RF Amplifier (a box that you'll need), and then a short aerial cable goes to the BV7 and then another short cable comes out of the BV7 and goes back to the RF Amplifier. Stefan, Anders is owning the code, there is no doubt. However, Bang and Olufsen is selling the product as being compatible with Mac, and in fact it is not anymore, until Anders is able to update the code to make it compatible with Snow Leopard and the latest version of iTunes. In a separate Thread, Anders explained that he moved from Sweden to California

I think the powerlink cable between the Beolink and the Beocenter is not used for the sound. The datalink is used for the sound. The powerlink cable is not compulsory, but if present must be a fully wired, and is used to transfer the volume information, so the you can turn the volume up and down on the Beocenter, and the AVANT will turn the volume up

Try this: Press LIGHT, then LIST to display SETUP. Press 0, then LIST to display STORE. Press GO, then 3 (or 4 to revert to dimmer)
