I suspect the repair technician is also cheaper to employ if repairs are made at the module level.

Seems awfully like a solution looking for a problem to me I wonder how many folk would use it as a lappy in the comfort of their own living room (read - where no one was watching)

My understanding is that the chipset in the BV10/BV8 is also from Pixelworks albeit a different part number. How much better (if at all) is the chipset in the BV7 (other than driving another video out etc.) Quantitatively we'll never find out. This is one of the problems of a forum such as this - it's pretty much impossible to get to the bottom

Daft question then - if the Logitech can do it, can the Beo5 be programmed to control the Beosystem 5000?
