That's exactly the problem I mentioned. You really need to manufacture another hook or peg on the tonearm carriage to reaffix the nylon line to. The original plastic hook has snapped off and there is no way of glueing it back on even if you still have it and it is quite difficult to see where this hook originally was. Agreed - many problems can be solved with a bit of tinkering on these decks. They aren't the most complicated beasts B&O ever made. A common problem with a non tracking arm is the nylon pully cable fixing point on the arm carriage snaps off which is a fairly straightforward fix. Chris.
