This was very interesting reading indeed, espescially Soundproof has some interesting points. Soundproof mentions And Then There were Three, A Genesis album from 1978. Being a hardcore Genesis fan I have this album on its original vinyl, the remastered 1994 editions (CD), and of course the recently released 5.1 releases including a new stereo remix

Must be a setup issue. When I bought my BL5, and first listened to them I was a bit disappointed. It was better than my previous BL6000 and a KEF subwoofer, but not much. After a bit of investigation, I discovered that the B&O people had selected the right speakers in the setup menu, but they had forgotten to turn the subwoofer choice to "OFF"

If you previously have had another setup with a subwoofer, you need to change the surround setup from "subwoofer on" to "subwoofer off". I didn´t do that, and was slihtly disappointed at first. Very happy with them ever since. Just speculating of course...

Thank you! I learned a lesson now. Try it out before you ask questions. I can in fact listen to radio or cd in the kitchen, while the TV or DVD is on in the bedroom, or vice versa. I have had my system now for a few years, and just now discovered the possibilities! The only limit is the TV/DVD, but I can live with that. Thank you!

No one? Is it still a limit that you only can watch or listen to one source in link rooms? In other words you can´t listen to a CD in the kitchen and watch DVD in the bedroom if the master is in the living room?
-
Me too! I want something new, and I could use the Avant in the basement...

I still have an Avant which I love in the living room. The problem with the Avant is that it can only distribute one source to the link rooms. This means that I cannot watch TV in the kitchen if the kids are watching DVD in the bedroom. Is this different with a BV7? And do anyone have an idea of the capabilities of the BV10?
-
My Avant DVD is still working perfectly, and still sounds and looks good. I've been thinking about what shall replace it. The obvious choice is the BV7, but frankly I like the design of the Avant better. You can hide all cables etc witout any problems behind an Avant. I've always liked the looks of the BV5, so the BV10 sounds very interesting
