My CDX has a problem with the motorised lid - I wondered if anyone could point me in the right direction to sorting it out It closes automatically perfectly normally but when I press open, the lid clicks and moves a couple of mm but won't actually open... However if you lift the lid slightly while pressing open it will work. Also if you close the

If you have a two-way equipped 2300 then the answer is yes it will! (with full two-way functionality). The way to tell is if there is an IR sensor on the bottom left hand side of the stereo in the black bar under the glass. If not you will be able to control it but only in one-way mode. MX is not two-way compatible and I am not convinced the DVD1 actually

To be fair the alarm is fairly unobstrusive and can very easily be turned off, I can't see how it is that much of a problem. However it would be nice to have an option to turn off!

Being totally honest I agree with Leslie. To get the very best price I would sell the Beo4 remote and Beolab 6000s seperately (for maybe £70 and £700 respectively) and then see what you can get for the AV9000, maybe £200 on eBay on a good day! I hope this helps!
