Hi: I am using the round keys to modify an old computer keyboard. The picture shows what it would ideally look like. However, mine will probably be a poor imitation:

Hi: Don't know what but there is something technically wrong with it, not operator error. Please be aware that these are not economical to repair if tube related and in which case you would be best off canabalising it for parts and throwing it away. Graham

Hi all: In an effort to alleviate boredom I am completing my media server before moving on to other projets. I have exhausted my box of PC junk and was therefore wondering if anyone within the forum has any old graphcs cards/tv tuner cards lying around the house that they no-longer want and are liable to throw them away? If so please reply to ths thread

Hi all: Has anyone on here used a Slingbox? If so what are your experiences of them? My friend gave me his as he couldn't get it to work, yet I think some of the cables were missing. I am going to buy the necessary scart adaptors this week and connect it to my Virgin box. I reckon I can get it going but is it a stable system? The box touts that

I would like to develop my skills in electroincs yet think that the kits available in Maplin and on eBay are a bit too basic. I would like to build a beach buggy but my mechanical knowledgw is not that great yet and I would need to go on a welding course first

Hi Kieth: Thanks it probably was that, unless I can get such a cassette door from a donor set or make my own I guess I will just have to be careful with regards to what tapes I put in there - i.e. ones with labels that are firmly stuck down etc. Thanks Graham

Hi Kieth: It might be the problem you describe. However, it seemed like it was playing dead. The tape was fully in the mechanism I think (the flap had closed) and I assume that it was in the right place to be manipulated by the tape heads. However, when using the Beo4 or buttons on the top of the Avant to eject/play/turn the video on absolutely nothing
